Bonsai is the art of growing a miniature tree in a pot that is a perfect representation of nature. Beginning in China, and spreading to Japan, this ancient art has very quickly been adopted by the rest of the world. Some of the most expensive bonsai can be up to 800 years old and fetch upwards of £900,000.

Peter Chan is considered to be the UKs leading expert in the art of bonsai. Peter began his journey into the world of bonsai in 1967 and in 1982 he won his first gold medal at the Chelsea Flower Show and went on to win 21 consecutive gold medals.
